Graduate Landscapes project shortlisted for Horticulture Week Landscape and Amenity Awards

23 October 2009

We're thrilled that we have been voted a finalist in the ‘Best Parks and Gardens Project' category by the judges of the Horticulture Week Landscape and Amenity Awards. Working in conjunction with The Terra Firma Consultancy, a highly respected firm of Landscape Architects based in Petersfield, our brief was to restore and create a lasting memorial on behalf of the Leonard Cheshire Foundation, at their former site of Lee Court Selborne, Hampshire.

The garden has been created on three levels, the centrepiece being a 5 tonne block of Cornish Granite installed over a mirror pond. The garden boasts both formal and informal areas, with numerous places of quiet solitude and peaceful reflection. The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 3rd November at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.

Watch this space to see how we get on - fingers crossed!
