Official ammonite handover to Haslemere Museum |
November 22nd 2010 |
|
After our incredible ammonite findings in September of this year we had showed it to a number of interested parties to get an idea of exactly what they were. It turns out these are very rare and should go to the Haslmere museum to show as part of a fossil exhibition. To hand these over to the curator we invited the new headmistress of St Ives school along with the Gavins' daughter, where the ammonites were found, and of course my wonderful daughter. It was a bit of a struggle to fit everyone to the picture in but attached is a of that day. To get a proper look at the fossils take a trip down to Haslemere Museum, you won't be dissapointed! |
