Royal Visit to St Richards Hospital Garden, Chichester

The new rehabilitation centre at St Richards hospital was recently visited by Princess Alexandra. Lots of important people on the day celebrating this eco friendly green coloured building. Behind the scenes Graduate had been beavering away for several weeks to integrate the building into the surrounding landscaping. Several hundred metres of sedum roofing were laid in the summer to provide an eco friendly alternative to traditional roofing (watch this space, before long your outside shed will have to be sedum, not  asphalt). We planted up the protective sound bunds with low growing, ground cover - Euonymus Vinca and ground cover roses for a low maintenance and attractive planting. Italian topiary and winter primulas gave the day that special feel and we gather the Princess was delighted with the results.
