The Alpaca family

Some of you may know that this year we bought a couple of lady Alpacas not knowing that one had been ravaged by a male on the loose! These are such great pets if you have the space and they're a far cry from the usual domestic pet!  Kids love them but with the size of them they're not the kind of thing you would take into show and tell! However after waking up one sunny summer morning we were amazed to find a new addition to the family! We have no idea how this happened...well technically we do but when is a mystery. Anyway, needless to say it is a beautiful looking animal and there's always room for one more! They're great for keeping the grass down and as i may have mentioned before their little deposits make for amazing compost, its just a matter of gathering the stuff! I've included some pictures of the whole family so you can see for yourself. Don't be fooled by the hacky looks they give, they love me really!
