Graduate Landscapes are an award winning garden design company. We offer exceptional garden design services and this is reflected in the many awards that we have received over the years. We were delighted to be awarded a Gold Medal Award and The Best Conceptual Garden at the prestigious RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in 2011 for ‘Landscape Obscured’, an immense achievement. An ingenious, first of its kind, garden design by Dan Lobb, the garden design focused on the concept of human consumption effecting the environment, featuring a subterranean mushroom garden. Dan’s garden design was innovative in the extreme but with the clarity of vision and dedicated landscape gardening team, we were able to bring Dan’s inimitable design from the drawing board to reality, with thrilling results.
We are also immensely proud of our highly talented garden designer, Chris James for becoming a finalist at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show ‘Young Garden Designer of the Year’ competition last summer with his ‘GreEnCO Sense’ garden design. The show gardens highlighted the requirement for use of renewable resources and recycled materials, concentrating on how they can be adapted for use within a garden, which works both practically and aesthetically. His garden creates a microhabitat as a haven for bees and other insects which allows them to thrive alongside the human impact of various man-made, recycled and sustainable features and the overall result greatly impressed the judges.
Last summer we also worked alongside garden designer Mariko Naka in helping create her beautiful ‘Spirits of the Land’ garden inspired by Japanese culture and achieving a Silver Flora award for the garden’s thought-provoking, symbolist design features.
