Surrey based Graduate Landscapes are award winning garden designers. Our prestigious garden designs can be seen in gardens in Virginia Water, St. George's Hill, Cobham, Farnham, Guildford and many other parts of the County of Surrey.
When designing a garden the geography and architectural environment can be important influence on the garden design. Being based in Surrey we have deep understanding of the visual vernacular of the county. Even if a garden design is more contemporary in its outlook it will always have a relationship and be in response to the visual language of Surrey. So whilst our designers are keen to make their own statement and help patrons to express their identity, it is important to have a good understanding of the local context of any garden in order for its design to have a dialogue with it.
Surrey has a wonderful garden heritage. The RHS gardens at Wisely near Cobham are well known and rightly admired. There are also smaller less well known gardens from which to draw inspiration and which inspire our designers. Loseley Park in Guilford, Surrey, with its two-and-a-half acre walled garden, fragrant rose garden and exquisite herb garden. Another is Painshill Park in Cobham, Surrey, first created by the Honourable Charles Hamilton, this ethereal 18th century landscape garden and its follies are a wonderfully tranquil space to explore.
Having our roots in Surrey and Hampshire means we can have a close relationship with our customers. This means we are never far away for consultation and garden design help.
