King’s Somborne Secret Garden Sunday
Sunday 14th June, between 2 am and 6 pm, 12 village gardens open for King’s Somborne Secret Garden Sunday.
A pretty and peaceful, stream-crossed Test Valley village with an abundance of thatched houses will be opening gardens hidden behind walls and fences, most for the first time ever. The gardens range from a small modern garden professionally designed to a large hilltop 17th century house with orchards, paddock and small lake. As part of the event the thatched village pub will be offering a special garden BBQ menu. There will be cream teas at various gardens, a plant sale and a wonderful exhibition of works by local artists in the barn of the Old Vicarage.
