December, the work is not done yet!
Tempting ? I know – to lit the wood burning stove, put on an extra pair of warm socks and let the garden take care of itself this month but we gardeners are a hardy lot and a little bit of frost isn’t going to keep us from the tasks ahead.
It’s all about preparation! Gardening in November!
Out they come – the gloves and hats and scarves and wellie socks for whilst the rest of the world may now have retreated back indoors to sit out the winter in a warm room, we gardeners have much to do as we head towards winter solstice and the shortest day of the calendar year.
Gardening in July
We’re moving along into High Summer, which means if the weather holds, at the weekend and once the holidays start, you’ll likely be spending more time outdoors than indoors.

With apologies in advance for the fact that this month’s To Do blog sounds suspiciously like an episode of TV’s Casualty or Holby City because as we move this month (May) from Spring to early Summer we need to remember PTS.
April! What a wonderful month!
I’d recommend stocking up on the energy bars and porridge oats this month because it’s time to roll your sleeves up and really get cracking in the April garden where all your planning and hard work over winter will now be starting to pay off.
